Making aircraft fuel tanks 

  

Making aircraft RK-1 "Swallow" fuel tank. It works as a back-rest. It has dual fuel-level system (electronic and mechanical). Tanks is filled through the top/side of an aircraft.

Tank is fixed with aliuminium belts. Bottom of the tank, has a valve to release fuel residuals (water, particles, etc). It weights around 3 kg, is ~40 l capacity.

Initially, wooden template from 10 mm plywood produced. Aliuminium sheet is cut, with 8 mm sides bent down.

Based on template, sides are bent.

To expand it and make it stronger, sides are balooned with "english wheels"
