RK-2 "Blitz" | RK-3 "The Wind" / "Volungė" | RK-4 "mines"

After finishing RK-1 and RK-2, I've built a 4-seater RK-3. Construction time took one and a half years. Since the first flight airplane pilot was a simple, economic (16 l/h), reliable.

Glider KAI-12 "Pajūrietis" [Link 1] [Link2] [Link3] was used. Reduced wing area, removed the air brakes, flaps (20/40 degrees), 60 L fuel tanks installed. Coating changed to synthetic.

Body welded from chromansilium and plain steel pipes. Shape is maintained with wooden stringers. Coating is partialy metal, partial - dakron.

Aircraft has four seats, and capable of carrying additional (100 kg) load. Equipped with an internal communication system, the airplane's electrical system is ready to connect additional equipment.

All navigation and engine control devices installed.

Individual wheel brakes and hanging pedals installed.

Propellers - 1.8 m in diameter, dvimentis, wooden, fixed pitch. Gasoline - octane number of at least the 70th Equipped with dual ignition system.

During the 7 years priskraidziau 1000 hours. While the plane was neat (save in paint), I decided to update it. Completely dismantling did not find any defects or cracks. Replaced by cloth and partly tin coating, reducing the wing area, equipped with additional fuel tanks, flaps. Cabin was spacious, comfortable. Left most of the good old sprendimų.Ypac flaps worked minimum-rate decreased by 12 km / h, run off after landing fell twice! (The first version of the air brakes).
