Had a good example - Z.Kiþys and A.Kuèinskas have been flying with such planes for a couple of years already. Whole construction took 1,5 years. Since the very beginning, plane was reliable, econonomic (16 litres of fuel per hour). During 7 years, flown ~1000 hrs. Everything was fine, but coat needed replacement. After full re-assembly, there was not damage found. During assembly process, many things were redesigned: decreased wing area, extra fuel-tanks, flaps. Cockpit became bigger, and more comfortable. Lots of good old solutions were kept here too. Highest effect was because of flaps: minimum speed decreased 12 km/h, landing distance - two times ! 1. Long time ago, before reconstruction.
